Markviss + dkPlus

Your books are in dk. Markviss makes them a plan.

Connect dkPlus with an access token and Markviss reads your ledger postings and chart of accounts, then turns them into metrics you can plan, track and set goals against. The dkPlus integration is currently in Beta.

What comes across

  • General ledger postings: account, amount, posting date and voucher
  • Your chart of accounts, with account names
  • Dimension 1, as a dimension in Markviss
  • The current calendar year and the previous two

What Markviss adds on top

  • Plan vs. actual on the figures from your books
  • Scenarios and driver-based what-ifs
  • Goals and metrics connected from the board target down to the team
  • Verdicts that show whether the plan holds or breaks

How the connection works

  • Paste a dkPlus Access API Token, issued in dk per user and company, into Markviss
  • Markviss only reads from dkPlus and never writes back
  • You review and approve the account mapping before any metrics are created
  • Sync nightly by default, or weekly, monthly or manual, plus Sync now whenever you want

Who it's for

  • Companies that keep their books in dkPlus
  • Finance leads who want actuals next to the plan without exporting to Excel
  • CEOs who want the numbers from the books tied to the goals the team works against

Connect in four steps

  1. Create an account or log in to Markviss.
  2. Go to Data Import → Integrations, choose dkPlus and click Connect.
  3. Paste your dkPlus Access API Token into the “dkPlus API token” field. The token is issued in dk, per user and company.
  4. Review the proposed account mapping and approve it. Only then are metrics created, from the current and previous two calendar years. After that, Markviss syncs on the schedule you choose.

The account mapping is yours to approve

Markviss proposes a default mapping based on the standard dk chart of accounts, which you review. It uses the usual dk number ranges: 1000–5999 for profit and loss, 6000–7999 for assets, 8000–8699 for equity and 8700–9999 for liabilities. Your own chart may differ, which is why nothing is imported as metrics until you have looked at the mapping and approved it.

Access and security

Markviss uses the token to read ledger data and the chart of accounts. It does not write anything back to dkPlus. You can disconnect the integration in Markviss at any time. The token is issued in dk, so you can also delete it there. Your data stays in the EU.

Markviss imports your figures and leaves the model to you: ratios and margins are yours to define as formulas on top of the numbers dkPlus sends. See metrics and relationships. Want to connect other systems too? See connect your own data.
